Too much light?
I have some ladies under two 600W HPS lights about 18" from the tips. Some leaves showed burning so I raised the lights and added more ventilation.
One lady is losing her chlorophyll so I turned one lamp off and they seem happier.
The question is can you get too much light on a plant to cause it to lose it's vigor and color? Note, the leaves are reaching up for the light like they are happy.

I re-potted the problematic ladies into a bigger container. FYI that was yesterday.

Too much light?
Anyone have any thoughts?
How close to plants do you all place your HPS 600W lighting?

Too much light?
yup, believe it or not, you CAN give them too much light intensity ... I light-bleached the hell outta some of mine once ... plants survived OK, but looked pretty gnarly :wtf: ... as for distance, the old 'back-of-the-hand' method works well ... if the back of your hand is comfortable at the plant canopy, the plant should be fine ... :smokin:
