Cannabis for Cyclothymia

"A persistently unstable mood, involving many periods of mild depression and mild elation. This instability usually develops in late adolescence and follows a chronic course, although moods may be within norms for months at a time. Mood swings are usually perceived by the individual as being unrelated to life events. The diagnosis is difficult to establish without a prolonged period of observation or an unusually good account of the individual's past behaviour. Because the mood swings are relatively mild and the episodes of mood elevation may be enjoyable, cyclothymia frequently fails to come to medical attention. I think I have cyclothymia because I've noticed a lot of the above symptoms as the seasons change. During summer and spring, everything's great. I'm outgoing, confident and hell, and feel a long flow of euphoria. But when winter and fall hit, I lose motivation to do things, become a little socially withdrawn and a lil' depressed.

My question, can Cannabis help me out? I LOVE the state I get in summer time where I stop worrying and walk through the would with ease, but the winter blues are something to really avoid.

Which strain is best for this? Sativa or Indica?
How often should one medicate?

I would say smoke a small bowl every morning and every night. Sativas are probably a better choice as they keep you up and focused, though you might want indicas if you're trying to sleep.

I have been diagnosed Cyclothymic. Trust me when I say you need to read this article, then go and see a doctor if you still believe you are Cyclothymic.
