Whitefly prevention outdoors HELP PLEASE!
Hey everyone,
I am about to take some girls out of my veg chamber and put them outside in the Hawaii sun during short season, but I am really worried they will be attacked by white flies like my other girls were previously. Does anyone have any advice on what I can to as a preventative measure? I was told to water with about a tablespoon per gallon of neem oil and the bugs wouldn't attack the plant. I also was told to put up some kind of barrier because the flies won't jump over it, but I was worried it would block out too much sun. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks a lot,
-rider

Hanging up yellow sticky traps around the plants will hep suppress the adult population and will give you a good idea of how many whitefly are active in the area. Other than that spraying with an insecticide when you move them out doors and following up with either eco oil or neem regularly for first half of flowering. Better not to spray anything on them in the latter half of flowering.
Other than that, many people believe in the power of prayer.
