PPM?

When growing in soil, when I add nutes, what should be the optimal ppm?
I mixed 1-Gal Tapwater, FishEmultion(5-1-1), Floralicious+ and Diamond Nectar, PPM was 250

what kind of soil and did u subtract your nutes from your waters ppm?if i remeber right you should still have seedlings and they dont need anything until the cotlyden leaves use up all there energy and they will either fall off or turn yellow then its time to add a varry small amount of nutes if your soil doesnt have any allready.a good number to start with is 250-300 ppm

I see, so you gotta check the ppm of the water first, I got ya, I have 3 clones and they were hungry, the seelings have been getting a lil foliar spray(Floralic'DiamondNectar)

Ok, so my water's ppm was 100-105 and when I added my nutes the total jumped to 400-405, so my nute's ppm was 300-305???

Yes, 300-305ppm.
However ppm is not a constant since meters measure EC and then convert to ppm. Different Mfrs use different conversion factors.

I have a Milwaukee. It's conversion factor is 68.

Bottom line is I use EC measured in mS (milliSiemens). My nutes schedule is published in EC. This way I know I'm talking apples to apples instead of apples to oranges.

I think mine only shows ppm, hmmmm, the ladies seem to like the mix, I think Im safe for now.
