Yet AGAIN...more issues. seeking expert advice :)

So this time I don't have a clue. Here's what I got.

Watering with PH'd water at 6.0 b/c tap was close to 8 and the soil is at 7 which makes me believe this is due to a lockout.

I am using Fox farms Grow Big at minimal amounts and have now stopped feeding them because I don't see much improvement, and I don't want the nutrients to become toxic.

My main concern is the little one. She's lime green with the leaves as you see them and a few rust looking spots on the middle leaves. Also it is growing pretty slow now compared to how the other ones grew. she's about 3 weeks now. sad.

The other two the stalks were cut by accident in a wrong attempt to top the plants and are barely starting to grow back. That was about two weeks ago.

Also the one had the leaves at the top canoeing upwards. Thought it might be heat so I raised the lights a little and nothing really. The other one had it a little but seemed to go away with a watering. Also tried foliar feeding with light nutes to see if the plant would take them since it seemed the roots wouldn't.

What could this be? PH problems? If so what means to fix? Im not tryin to lose them and they are growing very slow. This just flat out sucks right now but maybe i'm just paranoid and want perfect plants. But then again nothings perfect.

well expert advice is not needed my friend. always start with the basics,that is why they are the basics;)
- yellowing of the leaves is a general indicator of nitro deff.
-the canoeing affect is from erratic ph.
-sooooo what we know is that everything revolves around ph. do a run off test and see what comes out the bottom of the pot.if your ph is off you can lock out nitro, or if your ph's are good u might need to try another fertalizer with a higher n.p.k ratio.there is also a company out there that sells individual bottles of n . p . and k. if it turns out that your ph's are good and u dont want to switch fertz than i can shoot down to my friends store and check out the manufacturer for u .ohhh yeah i just looked at your pics again,what size are those containers? they look like 3 gallons.did u start in them?

First off thanks for responding....sometimes hard to get someone to respond to your post these days lol.

The leaves are yellowing, which I do know as a nitro deff. but they also show symptoms of other deffs. which is leading me to believe its a ph problem. I ph'd water to 6.0 and the runoff came out as 6.6. So I know the soil ph has got to be high. The containers they are in are i think 2 gallon containers, but were transplanted to them a couple of weeks ago from maybe 1/2 gallon. (for some reason where i bought them, they didn't know the size. but i do know the second containers I bought were larger than the first).

I have ph down and plan on flushing the plants with 6.4 water until the runoff is 6.4 and then slowly adding nutes again.

Does this sound ok?

get your PH under control. Pick up RO water, Cal Mag...and call it a day. PH'd water does not eliminate the chlorine, flouride, and all the other crap in tap water.

Control your variables...think scientifically. Makes you wish you would have paid more attention in Biology! :thumbsup:
