avoiding mould?

I cut down my first grow (outdoor) and with such a crap summer it produced small buds in small amounts, I then trimmed all the medium to large leaves and hung it in a cool dry place for four days. I had to trim it down as I couldn't leave it where it was anymore.
The leaves were dried right out but the buds still had a little dampness. Would maybe hanging it in some sort of netting for another day or two before curing in a jar be the best way to go. I really dont want to loose it to mould:stoned:

paper bag it for a day or 2 until the moisture goes down, or in some news paper. Don't let it dry out to much tho.
