In WA can patients grow together?
Can someone rent grow room space with other people?
This idea would not be a co-op. Each renter would have their own identified plants. This idea is a grow room where someone would rent grow room space to people that don??t have the space or equipment to grow on their own. They would grow for the renter plants with each plant a month apart so there will be a steady supply.
One way of looking at this idea is someone might buy a calf and make payments to the farmer to raise it since they don??t have a farm. They may instruct the farmer to raise it organically or have other instructions. And when the cow is ready they get the product.
Basically the idea is to have an internet grow room where there is a password link to the security camera on the plants so you can see your plant when you want to. The patient would be grown specific plants that have a plastic ring around the plant stock that cannot be removed so they would always know which exact plants are theirs.
What do you think the police would think about this idea?
If the renter got a plant every month could that comply with the 60 day rule?
Would there be much interest in renting space rather then setting up on their own?
What do you think the problems would be with this idea?
Please comment on this post about what you feel law enforcement would say about this idea or if you think this idea would help legal patients that don??t have the space or investment to grow on their own.
In WA can patients grow together?
I would like to point out - since I can??t edit this post - that this idea would be for someone who is very interested in growing their own medicine but doesn??t have the space. The product isn??t just grown for them - they have to take active participation in how their plants are cared for.
So the paragraph should read:
The grow space would follow instructions from the renter on how to tend the renter??s plants. The grow house would only grow 3 or 4 plants for an individual but each plant would be a month apart so there will be a steady supply.
rather then how I posted it.
Caring for the renter??s plant would rest on the laws?? reading that:
(2) No person shall be prosecuted for constructive possession, conspiracy, or any other criminal offense solely for being in the presence or vicinity of medical marijuana or its use as authorized by this chapter.
not on being a legal provider for any of the renters.
Sorry about not getting that right in the first place.

ANSWER:they would say thank you for the plants, now go see the judge
ANSWER: this qualifies as a co-op, anything more than 2, given that the law allows 2, a patient and provider
Great argument: WA. Court rules allow for a lawyer to have 10 rule 9 lawyers as long as the LEAD lawyer attends all the court hearings....that would be my argument !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:pimp:

Thanks jamessr.
I did go to the county sheriff??s office and talk to a detective and ask if a several people could do this together and they didn??t say they had any objection as long as there was the paperwork on the door. The detective actually said - and this is a pretty close quote ??It isn??t us you have to worry about but thieves braking in and taking your plants.?
Maybe they misunderstood and thought I meant only two. And they did suggest I talk to the drug task force about the 60 day rule ?? since if all the plants were grown in one stage - I could be over that limit. Maybe the task force could tell me what is enforced in this part of the state. Also I??m within a city limits so they suggested I talk to the city police which I did and nothing was said about limiting this to only two people and again the city police said just have the paperwork.
I wonder how much would depend on the local police - if they were happy with having more paperwork with less plants per person - or if there is some state wide consensus that if you have paperwork for more the two people you are done?
Having the plants taken - even if no one got into real trouble - would totally ruin the steady supply idea which is the real driving force behind this idea.
Somehow I see us having to talk to a few of those 10 lawyers you mentioned if we decide this idea is viable.
Maybe someone could comment on the idea of remotely growing plants so we could see if anyone might find that a realistic solution to growing on their own.
It seems 10 interested people would be worth at least one trip to a lawyer!

Boy did they just dupe you, the cops was speaking of them being the thieves, and the DTF will fuck you every time(steal your grow with a B.S. search warrant). Please keep in mind that growing MMJ is a felony and you will most likely face criminal charges if caught. The MMJ laws in Wa. are a AFFIRMATIVE DEFENSE ONLY TO CRIMINAL CHARGES, beware my patient friend, BE very careful talking about your privacy to ANY LEO!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As far as the 10- rule9 lawyers thing, you mis-understood what I meant.... What you have described here is what is known as a co-op in general terms, the court rule I spoke of could be used as a legal argument for any co-op, cause the provider law in RCW 69.51A says: one patient at anyone time... the court rule I spoke of uses the same exact lingo.... depending on what part of the state you live in depends on which lawyer you should and shouldn't speak with about your grow IDEAS.... If you have any questions, you can contact me at cannacare.org:pimp:

I went to jamessr??s website which looks really good so I??m sure he knows what he is talking about and I am contacting him but I am posting here again in hopes of getting other opinions also.
First question: If someone wants to be sure he is legal and obeying the law why isn??t it better to ask the local police what their policies are rather waiting until after the fact?
Next question: I may have missed something but I don??t see anywhere in the law that says the growing space of an individual has to be where he lives. Couldn??t the legal grower rent space outside his home if he couldn??t grow where he lives?
Finally: Many of my ideas are based on the Patient Access to Medical Marijuana in Washington State document where there is information about the concerns of patients and law enforcement on growing.
In this document one concern that law enforcement has is diversion of medical marihuana. (At this point I??m not considering federal law. Supposedly with the new president the feds are going to start considering state??s rights. But this is still a concern)
As jamessr stated only two are allowed - a patient that is also a provider - they could have 30 plants. Say they have 10 plants ready to harvest and 20 younger plants and each mature plant had 6 ounces then each patient would have more then 24 ounces putting them over the sixty day limit. Especially since next month 10 more plants are ready.
In this case is the risk of diversion less then if there were 10 people and 30 plants? If someone was renting space where there are 30 plants and 10 people then there is trouble - while if there were 30 plants and 2 people this is no problem?
There is plenty of space where I was thinking of doing this and the place is zoned where there could be 5 different addresses. So say the space was divided into 5 spaces and only local growers were involved that could come by and tend their plants. Would this be alright? Is it less likely for diversion if 2 patients were in each of the five spaces growing 30 plants or less plants and more renters?
My model is not to supply a single patient with all their needs but to supply a steady supply of at least part of their needs while using as few of the 15 plants they are allowed as possible.

You have to take care of your own bro, JUST DONT TELL NO-ONE.
At this point what are patients suppose to do now that cannabammer is not helping patients???
The entire law was written for "officers of the law" to screw us.
15 plants between patient and provider = I CAN NOT HELP NOBODY.
AS SOON AS I TRY I HAVE 30 PLANTS
IF I DO IT AGAIN THEN I PROBLY VIOLATED FOR ORGANIZED CRIME.
THE ONLY LEGAL DISPENSORY IN WASHINGTON WAS STEVE'S CANNABAMMER.
ACCORDING TO STEVE.
I SPENT A YEAR AT CANNABAMMER WONDERING WHERE ALL MY FRIENDS WENT.
I WAS BEING BRAINWASHED INTO THINKING EVERYBODY ROBBED POOR LITTLE STEVE,
BUT NOT REALLY.
I HAVE JUST BEEN LIVING MY OWN NIGHTMARE OVER HERE IN ORTING WASHINGTON.

James, you obviously do not know Steve Sarich or cannacare all that well.
Steve Sarich is running a dispensary out of his house. He tricks \"volunteers\" who he lies to about his situation, to sell his pot for him. He sells it at 2-3X the price he purchased it for. He likes to buy 10 lbs at a time for 2,000 a pound and then resell it a gram at a time for $10-12. All of the profit from those sales goes into Steve\'s pocket, he pays no tax on anything.
At the same time he is running a dispensary out of his house, selling anything he can (pot, edibles, tincture, equipment, etc), he is running clinics out of his house too, pushing through over 100 patients in a single afternoon. Do the math on the time per patient, these are not real doctor visits.
Cannacare/Steve Sarich/Sentry Medical Group takes in at least $40,000 per month, normally more. Yet Steve will never shut up about how, \"broke\" he is, and always tries to bully into those around into agreeing with him, making that the conventional wisdom. The fact is, it is a con. He pulls in hundreds of thousands of dollars a year, off the labor of unpaid volunteers, generally young women, who he sexually harasses until they get fed up and leave.
I am sorry Steve has run his con on you, he is really good at it. But know this, it is a con, and before this is over, you will realize he is using you, like he uses EVERYONE AROUND HIM. Watch out.
