How long do plants grow in height in the flowering stage?

Depending on the strain they can grow 2 to 3 times their hieght. Indica's maybe 2 times and Sativa's 3 times. It can be tricky because too tall and you don't get much light down under the canopy. Side lighting helps but you need all you can get.
Rough estimate to expect stretch - 1st 40% of flowering time

I meant how many weeks into flowering will the plants still grow in height?
I heard they stop growing in height around the 5th week and then it just focuses on the bud. Does that sound about right
Depends on the genetics of the strain. Sativas typically will take a couple weeks longer to flower than indicas. (under same conditions)Quote:

For example (10 week estimated flowering time period):
10 weeks * 40% = 4 weeks of stretch, 6 weeks of bud-fattening
Hope this helps:stoned:
*edit* typo
a plant will usually double in size from the time you to start flowering
so a 2ft plant in veg. will finish around 4ft
woops
The strain I grew last was around 10 week flower, and that got taller until about 4 weeks into flower (Just like DOUGAL25 estimates), so 40% of flower time sounds like a good starting point.
