Employee Healthcare and The Card (California)

I have a quick question about Employee Healthcare (Healthcare through the work place) and my ability to get a Card.

I'm worried that my employer will somehow see my active use of the card (or that it will show up on my medical history through my company file) and that I'll be fired. Is this a valid concern or are employers not allowed to see this kind of information since Healthcare is usually through a third party?

If it helps I'm just about to sign up for Healthcare at the start of the year and I have not signed up for the card yet.

Should be kept private, nowadays though you don't know. That shouldn't be a problem "just" having the card anyways. Possibly make it not look that great on your part though.

I don't think they would fire you(unless you work a position that is taken seriously), but probably require a drug test and explanation after that and well....
