new, ignorant & need help

Hello again, I feel really stupid but I have not figured out several things, like:

1) how to PM someone here
2) how to tell if someone is OK to communicate w/
3) whatads are OK to check out & which ones or bogus

just to name a couple of starters...

1. there's no PM system here...(it died years ago)

2. communication on the internet is always a risk

3. never heard of any complaints about the ads here...(well...nothing major..:D..)...buyer beware on the internet

Oh well, thanks!! At least I don't spend forever (i.e.even MORE time) trying to figure out how to PM someone now.
