Ebb and flow

I was trying to explain ebb and flow to my girlfriend and i ended up drawing this:postreadfaq:

thats not really ebb and flow, the water would never rise it would just pour out, u need the pump line to sit flush with the bottom of the tray with an over fill line back to the res. Pump stops tray empties.
