Hey i am in the process of building my first grow-box out of a hollowed out speaker. I have everything i need to start building except Mylar. I've read that tin-foil and emergency blankets can cause hot-spots. Looked in two garden stores and Lowes /Home depot and couldn't find any. Can't Paint white because i only have access to the speaker through a hole. Would silver Christmas wrapping paper catch fire? I would appreciate any suggestions.
use flat white latex water based paint, apply it with a sponge. Surely your arm can get through this "hole" right?
Yes it can and a sponge would work for applying it thanks for the idea. Any ideas on the christmas wrapping paper? i would like to use painting as a last resort.
What kind of home owners insurance do you have?
Haha that big of a fire risk huh? guess ill be grabbing the paint.
something like that would distort over time, add the moisture of plant watering and it would be a mess by the first harvest.

Just do as the as the dude said paint it flat white .Ohhh be carefull of fire!. also what light are you using? And what size is the speaker box.
