Anyone know if this stuff is safe?

I got some stuff called Spark 20 which is a legal herb and it gets me super high. Question is... if anyone knows.. What is this stuff and is it safe? Also will it show up on a drug test and as what?

Apparently its just some legal herb some company called RedXDawn created. If you Google RedXDawn, you will find more info. Personally, I would be very wary of it, and besides that 3 grams of it for $80 is ridiculous. For those of you interested as I was, here are the ingredients:

Further research finds that Lion's Tail is a hallucinogen. Mullein, Colt's Foot, and Red Clover are herbal cough suppressants. Blue Lotus has a mild sedative effect, and Siberian Motherwort is AKA Marihuanilla, and is apparently mildly psychoactive and very similar to cannabis.

I'd go get whatever $80 gets you of some nice buds, shit, that stuff is already at headies prices, and it doesn't even get you the headies high

this is the first i have ever heard of those legal buds actually doing anything though... you always get those pop-ups from legalsmokeshop.com or those other legal buds and i know people who have tried those and reported no effects at all

No seriously though. If it didn't get me high, then I wouldn't be worrying about how safe it is. I just want to make sure it wouldn't show up on a drug test, that's all. But it gives me the same exact high as weed.

Glad it works for you, but if some company came up with a legal blend that produced the exact effect of THC and other cannabinoids, they'd get very rich before the product was declared illegal everywhere. That's being done with the Spice products now, and nobody is claiming a high for it that equals cannabis.

I've used Spark 20 twice. I was skeptical when the headshop told me it was as good as the real deal but he said he had repeat customers and I had some extra cash. It doesnt look like pot or smell like it at all. I"ve done some research myself because it got me more stoned than some of the higher grade shit I can find around here. It was pricey but worth it, it kept me really stoned for at least 2 hours off one hit of it. The health ramifications are very very low. Matter of fact I found some of the ingredients of it and some are actually very helpful. The active ingredient that causes the high is JWH-018 and is four to five times more potent than tetrahydrocannabinol, more commonly known as THC, which is the main psychoactive substance in cannabis. The chemist who designed (and lent his initials to) JWH-18, John W Huffman, an organic chemist at Clemson University in South Carolina, told Chemistry World that his goal had been to make a simple compound to study structure-receptor relationships. The compound interacts with both cannabis receptors.JWH-018 has not been licensed anywhere in the world for medical applications and little is known about the effect on humans, as not even pre-clinical studies have been to determine potential toxicity. Steup says he is inclined to believe it is not toxic, and that he would be more concerned about any lingering impurities from the production process. Hope this helps you out a bit. yes, i agree. this stuff is definitely stronger than the dankest buds on the planet. i took one bong rip and did with no intentions of getting high. i was actually laughing at my buddies who introduced it to me the whole time making fun of them. i seriously took ONE RIP and I was toasted for what seemed like 2-4 hours. it was very clean and more of a "high" vs. a "stone". sure its expensive but I would recommend combining a "filler" such as wild dagga flowers while just using a tad bit of the spark 20 to sprinkle in the bowl or J, whichever your preference. smoking a pure bong bowl turned me absolutely retarded.

I may end up someday becoming the godfather to this blend. A bit of history....

I live very close to the area this has originated (TX). Like others that have indicated, I also am very experienced in the smoking "herb" world. Very educated in botany (phD) and various "relatively unknown" hallucigen species that grace our fine country. The low-down....JWH-018 is illegal in most countries nowadays; however no analytical studies have produced any health effects from this natural occuring chemical compound. You will find JWH-018 in Spark 20. Spark 20 is just ONE blend out there nowadays. SWIM has tested various blends besides Spark 20/30 to include: Purple Haze, Orange Cush & Chocolate. Spark 30 is bomb and Purple Haze is a bit more chill. Currently the U.S. is not pursuing this because of the difficulty to regulate via UA/Saliva/Follicle testing. I know this because I have tested myself under lab for 2 months now....which produced solid-lined, negative results.

Now for SWIM's physical results based on 15 min after hitting a one banger:

1 hit: Little-Nothing
2 " ": High
3 " ": High High
4 " ": Stoned - Ripped

That the bottom line folks. This varies based on the blends SWIM has mentioned. SWIM's personal feelings are that follow-up tokes are merely "OK". The first one is a INTENSE wake n bake that may last nearly 2 hours! Down here it is expensive running 30 bucks a G but is a great legal alternative. It's amazing that website like Amazon.com readily sells the stuff for the going price at head shops? Bottom line, this stuff is bomb.
