it fell over wtf
my mango fell over for how long i dont know.had a few spots of rot pulled it off and had to cut a small branch off.but the plant was on the ground i didnt bring anything with me to tie it up...so i used a few twist ties i had stashed there...hopefully it works....going back monday with twine....but holy crap the main cola is thicker than my forearm.......one other problem a branch kinda broke but was still attached "no exposed area" so i used a twistie and tied each end to branches for support....im excited but still worried about rot..i shook the crap out of it so hopefully im good...shes coming down end of september....well most of it....but what else should i do...

Those plants are very tough. They are weeds. I would suggest you add a stake to the stalk. Depending on the height, put a peice of wood, or what ever, near the stalk and tie it there. Not tightly, just enough to stablize the plant. You may decide you need two. You can use those twisty ties for that or what ever else might work. I have had branches that had very little holding them on the main plant but was able to save them with one of those sticks used for shish kaboobs (they are about $2 a package of 100) and tape (anykind seems to work) and they have grown back. I have also used the staking to lift up branches that get too heavy. Just stick them in the ground where you feel they need the most support and tie them loosely.
Have not had many rot problems. In fact do not remember the last time. Not sure I would be shaking it.
