legal problems, worried...

Greetings.

I am new around here, so I hope I am making no offense to anyone posting my question without introductions first...

I was recently charged with misdemeanor possession and paraphernalia in a state with no tolerance (indiana). I have been self medicating with Marijuana for anxiety and ADD for 12 years. I am around 280 pounds, 6'1" and mostly fat and have a sedentary lifestyle, am a web designer/computer geek by trade, so I have a slow metabolism. I begin probation on October 1, and have not smoked any since July 26, when I was busted. I want to be sure I am clean when I go in the first time, and will remain clean for the entire year (looking forward to Oct. 2, 2010) I know thc remains in your body's fat cells and can remain there for a long time, especially in a large man with a slow metabolism. I am beginning to use Mona Vie, a acai berry based health supplement that is supposed to clean all oxidents out of your system, lower cholesterol, among other things. I drink alot of energy drinks on almost a daily basis. I drink 1/2 gallon of grapefruit juice once a week, for it's high acidity. the county I am in, as well as the state are very backwards when it comes to personal freedoms, and have been known to send people to jail for failing the first visit. I am going on a diversion program, so if I am clean for a year nothing goes against my record. I have 3 kids and can't go to jail. Should my system be completely clean by Oct. 1? Do I have anything to worry about here, or am I just being overly paranoid?

Each person is different and court-ordered drug testing is one area where you should not rely on another persons guesswork. Only a home THC test would tell you for sure.
When taking a home test, be sure to use the first urination of the day.

if it is all a matter of metabolism, will the fact I drink alot of caffine and energy drinks help me when it comes time for testing? How about Ritalin/adderall/cola/black beauties? since they are out of your system in 2-4 days? would taking these things until a week before testing help burn the THC out of my system faster? I am going to get a home drug test in a little while to see what it will show in the morning, since it has been 43 days since i last smoked, and I have 24 days left before my first probie meeting... anything I do to burn the stuff out I will stop 10 days before to give my body time to adjust to normal and be completely clean...

There is nothing that "burns" THC out of your system.

THC is stored in your fat cells. When fat cells burn for energy, the THC metabolites are released back into the bloodstream and make an eventual exit via the urine and bowels. This is the reason why THC has a longer detection period than other types of drugs. Only time and fat-burning exercise can permanently rid the body of THC.

However, THC metabolites (THCA) that are present in the bladder can be diluted by drinking fluids. This reduces the THCA concentration in the bladder to the point where the urine sample falls below the cutoff thresholds of the drug screen. This is only effective on the day of the test. Its a balancing act and the effects are only temporary - once all of the fluids consumed had been urinated out, a "dirty" donor will resume testing positive for THC.

Dilution techniques in any configuration can backfire if the THCA concentration in the bladder is too high. For most heavy smokers, its virtually impossible to dilute the THCA concentration without overdiluting and sending up red flags at the lab.

With almost 70 days clean, i'd say your chances are pretty darn good. The home test will let you know.

Test yourself a week before the test. If you pass (especially with 1st void of the day) you should be good to go.

If you fail, follow the dilution. I would think that with almost 70 days, a mild dilute should be good. 40oz of Gatorade, then 2-3 voids before the test.

thank you for the advice... i will let you know the results of my home urine test the week before probie. and take your advice... one more question... would taking diretics like ex-lax for a week or two help? i know it isn't healthy. but my family and my freedom is more important than my temporary discomfort and temporary health issues... my son is 2... i don't want to lose any of his youth because of backwards laws that say a natural growing substance is illegal even though they help people without the side effects pharmacuticals have, like damage your body and make you addicted, ones that are dangerous to ever quit taking, like barbiturates for anxiety (they can kill you if you quit taking them after using them for so long)... and the state of indiana is so "conservative" that they would sooner elect a clinton as governor than legalize... wish me luck and remember me when you toke... i might hang around during this time of trial, y'all seem pretty cool, and they can't take away my freedom of speech, at least not yet...

nah, x-lax and those types of things wont help you.

Just time and speeding up your metaboilsm. Any exercise will help. Walking, light weights, sex(even by yourself ;) )

Check on-line and get some home tests. They run about $15 at a drug store, but you can find them on-line for about $1 a strip test.

Post back with your home test results.

Personally, I am waiting to get my home strips in the mail and am curious to see where I stand. 34 days today!!! UHHG! :mad:

Try eating a high fiber diet with metamucil till about 3 days before the UA and then load up on fatty red meats for the UA.
Definitely get a couple home tests to see how you're doing.
