Anybody using this? I sent my wife out for flowering fertilizer, and this is what she brought home, it's a 5-8-4 time release, I've never used a time release fert, so any advice is welcome.

send your wife back to the store and make her return it. time release ferts are tough to flush out.
yeah...for your adopted plants; you would want something granular, that mixes well with water, like 10-30-10....blooming/flowering nutes. One-half strenght, max....and only about once a week...max.
I was recommended a 2-20-20 water soluable, which I picked up this morning, I'll save the Happy Frog vor next year's vegetable garden.
Dirt, use the Happy Frog. Put in a couple cups of fert mixed with soil in a 5 gallon bucket or container of similar size. The fert is good, don't be afraid to use it. It's actually manufactured with this plant in mind.
