Mandatory Minimum Sentencing

I just found out recently that in my state , you can have up to a kilo of pot in your possession and it be considered a misdemeanor. Now here's the real kicker, if you cultivate it and get caught , depending on the ammount of plants that you are caught with ,you are looking at a 5 year mandatory minimum sentence with no chance of parole.How fucked up is that? Depending on how many plants you are caught with ,you could be facing mandatory LIFE in prison. Over growing a plant that God gave to us to use as we see fit.Life in prison for cultivating a plant that gives us more than any other plant or tree could ever do, a plant that could solve so many of our problems as a nation and as a people.It makes me sick that so many otherwise good people are forced to surrender a portion of their lives just for cultivating God's gift to man.The sad part of it is that no presidential candidate short of Ron Paul will even touch on the subject.Between corrupt cops who signal their drug sniffing dogs to give a false positive to uncaring judges that sentence good people to basically a death sentence for growing a plant ,to an uncaring and apathetic public that won't get off their collective asses and vote these idiots out of office to effect meaningful change in our public policies, it seems that a guy or gal that just wants to grow a few plants doesn't stand a chance.

They took away my right to vote in my state. However contrary to what I was told I need to go get my paper work and take it to the where we register to vote so I can be reinstated. They tell you, you can never vote again cause your a felon now. Fact is only a few states never allow you to vote again and on the other hand a few states let you vote from prison. Go figure. My state like most, when convicted of a felon have you removed from the register and when your done doing your time should put you back. They will not waste thier time doing so. They make us do it.

Well they stopped me this past election but not again. I will watch and vote against all who are not for change in a good way for the people. I gues just about all of them.
