who can access records to see you have a MM card?
I've always considered getting a MM card but I've always feared it could come back to hurt me trying to get a job with the government or even a private company. I know employers can't typically have any access to your medical records, but is MM treated differently than a normal prescription?

i am new to this site and have the exact same question. I know some employers do look at your medical records. Does anyone have any knowledge on this specific incident

This is probably one of the most asked questions out there.. If you get a recommendation from a doctor, then no one has access to those records unless you give them your paperwork. There is no "central database" to speak of. This does fall under doctor-patient confidentiality.
Now there are also county cards that are issued by the state, but those are different and not exactly required (no matter what the cop may tell you).

How would that even be possible? If you go to a doctors office and they give you a rec, they take one copy and stick it in your chart, and give you the other. They dont file one away with the state, the feds, or your employer. You have a right to medical privacy, and this would be a SEVERE violation of that right. Can your employer see that you have herpes? Cancer? Hep C? I dont think so, and this is no different.

QFT. The clubs I frequent store the information on a flash drive, that can easily be removed/destroyed in the event of a raid. Beware of any dispensary that keeps copies of paper records on site.
