deficiency? mold? I need help.
I noticed these rust colored spots on one of my plants while it was in veg. i figured it was mold or something so I culled that one out. Now all her sisters are in flowering and im noticing the same rust colored spots on some of thier fan leaves. some of the really bad ones are starting to dry out and krinkle up.
Im thinking its either a magnesium/calcuim deficiency, or some kind of mold. probably the latter because it seems to spread through physical contact.
anyway, heres what im running
400 watt hps, vented, in a 3x3x7 grow tent
78 degrees F, 50% RH
ocean forest soil w/ 35% perlite
botanicare pro grow/bloom, cal-mag, sweet.
foxfarm big bloom
anyway, heres a couple pics. hope you can help!:hippy:

What's your feeding schedule and dilution rates, and why are you using nutes from a couple of different manufacturers? (risky)
Different manufacturers add different chemicals at different ratios. Mixing manufacturers can and often will present a conflict of interest. (they don't play well with others) Big Bloom is the catalyst formula (a tea, of sorts) for the Fox Farms line. Unknown if the nutes and chemicals in it coinflict or magnify the nutes and chemicals in the Botanicare.
Personally, I'd ditch the CalMag and the Sweet, and replace it with unsulphured molasses.

what rusty said
most nute co. have a base or suspension or part a which contains a certain amount of micros that usually gets combined with a part b whether its flower or grow and that has a different set of mcros in different proportions oh hell what rusty said.
i usually stick too their basic recipe and change only additives but its tricky be careful

ok. now after reading up on some other posts, i think my Ph is too high/alkaline. its above 8 and this is probably causing some kind of nute lockout. im going to try and water with 6.5 ph water and see it that makes a differience.
