moving

I'm looking for a state to move to that is mj friendly, and has a decent standard of living. California has a very high (no pun intended) standard of living. My ideal state would have easy access to jobs and reasonable prices for homes or renting. Plus it has to be a diverse area (different people and ethnicities). I really don't care for snow, and excessive cold (maybe I'm asking for too much), but if anyone lives in such a state, or city, could you let me know?
