Three female plants hidden among the wild shrubs and grass. I also have a male Bubblegum I'll polinate the girls with.
First, a revegging blueberry.

Tied the two Z10 down today to lower the profile. I found dozens of snails devouring the leaves. The wet Summer has been perfect for the friggin snails. I mix a batch of hot pepper spray and apply tomorrow and until the weather dries up.

yeah man.. snails and slugs can be the worst.. Ive noticed that they only really show where there is alot of shade at though. Never seen any by my plants that get direct sunlight all day.

yep, they are flat out everywhere this season. All over the garden (full sun), but they eat none of that, thankfully.

Snails continue to ravage the pot plants. The plants are large enough that they are not totally gone. I used Safer Insect soap yesterday and will check on the results today. I read that hair, eggshells, sand and salt are good to keep them away and beer traps (a dish of beer to drown in) works great to kill 'em. I just don't like to use all that on a stealth grow. I may try vaseline on the main stalk. Otherwise, the plants are growing well.

Very nice start shovel, I use safers too and doesn't seem to help very much :( I tried cedar mulch and tossing some moth balls around, solved my snail problem a couple years ago. Lurkin along!

Yeah, nothing like finding their disgusting slime trails on your eaten up plant. Makes you want to rid the world of them. And the one horsefly that does suicide runs at my head the whole time I'm out there, lol.

The Bubblegum male waiting to pollinate the ladies. It is in the veggie garden and has been trimmed short so it can't be seen easily.

National Guard helicopter flew right over last week and today they flew directly over them plants. I doubt if the seen 'em though. I'll have to keep them camo-ed real good later on in the season.

Shovelhandle- i have spent a lot of time in helicopters- I once spent an entire day on a search and rescue- it is amazing how difficult it is to recognize anything from the air- we would fly directly over groundsearch team and not see them- A casual flyover my plants would not alarm me at all- now if they have those infrared cameras attached to each skid look out
best in your grow I too am growing blueberry this year in an outdoor grow
