light cycles while flowering

Hi,

This is my first post and I'm a first time grower. I read a lot but couldn't find the answer to this question so I decided to consult some of the veterns in here.

I'm growing outdoors, I have a nice 1.5 meters plant. The days lenght in here are still about 14 hours. I started a 12/12 cycle by covering my plant using big black sheet three weeks ago. A week after (two weeks ago) she began showing flowers. 4 days ago I strted noticing trichomes on the leaves and buds are getting bigger.

My question - can I stop covering her with the sheet and stop the 12/12 cycle now? What difference will it make?

Dont stop the cycle after you have started very bad idea it will confuse the plant again going out the 12/12 causing stress bad buds and stunted growth.
Keep covering the plant like you are now until the days are natural 12/12 and only then can you now stop covering the plant ..
