leaf problems.

Hi ,
I'm getting some real problems with the leafs on my girls,:( they are starting to go yellow and dying on the edge of the leafs, i assume it's some sort of deficiency but, unsure what. Any help would be great

TR-Did you pre-soak your media in pH corrected solution?

Looks like a ph issue, nutrient overdose and possibly overwatering or spraying too often.

What are coco balls, and why did you add them?

Are they foliar fed, or sprayed with anything? (this includes any ferts, ammendments or additives)

Did you just switch them to 12/12, and did they look like that already? (4 weeks old?)

A two-part bloom fert...?

How are you testing the ph?

you said about spraying well when they were about 2 weeks into bloom i got an infestation of the dreaded spider mite. i did hit them hard with the spray but, it did the job and wiped the out. it was several days after this treatment that this problem strated to manifest.
they have been on 12/12 for 4 week 5 days, the plants are 7/8 weeks old from taking cutting.
i test my ph with a digital tester and it has just been recalibrated last week.
the coco balls are clay/terracotta balls, they are in there just to give abit ov space for airation of the roots and soil.
the clay balls,2 part vitalink and 6.5 ph is something i use always and up until now have never really come across any major problems.

Likely the curling leaves with burned edges that looked like ph stress and/or overnute is actually a result of the anti-mite stuff. Some are harsher than others, and all of 'em I'd rinse off with ph'd water, and raise lights till dry. From what I understand, it can clog the pores restricting transpiration and aspiration, and on a plant already stressed by mites, a little tlc is in order.

How does the new growth look? If from the spray, the newest growth shouldn't look like that. Old growth with the worse signs will likely die-off. But plucking them off may add the final stressor before nanners, so use your best judgement and an abundance of caution.

Do you fish the clay balls out after every grow? (curious)

6.5 ph is ideal for peat based mixes.

one thing i didn't do was rinse the spray off of the leaves. the worst plant is the one that got the primary infestation ov mites so in turn i paid more attention to it in terms ov treatment, i gave it just that little bit more. i did think it was something to do with the mites but, i didn't realise that i should have rinsed the spray off of the leaves. well you live and learn, if i have to spray any future crops then atleast i'll be armed with the knowledge i've learnt today.
as for the clay balls, no i bin them and get new each time.
all the new growth on the plant around the buds looks excellent, you are almost certainly right. i tried to upload a picture of plants and buds but, for some reason i can't up load it. if i can put one up later i will do.
