New Grower..about to CUT

First time grow.
got a bit of help from being fairly well educated in the field of plants but this is a way different ball-game. Also i have to chop this in a few days. I am turning off the lights tomorrow..and then im waiting a day or two..and then i am hanging them in a large darkish room for X days..and then i am cutting and trimming it and placing it in a paper bag for another Y days..and then it will be sealed in a jar until it is ripened..yes? So my plant unfortunately will not be fully completed and there will be bud sites with more developed areas than others so, for my particular case, what should i do? especially for this last day or two before i cut it off. nobody has mentioned any thing like last things to do to roots or leafs before end except flush which i didn't do cuz i didn't use any nutes. just a lil molasses and a little nitrogen long time back..anything i should be doing to assure/(better my chances) i will not get nasty greens? This plant also is very dark leaves and still has some tippy foxtails that grew new lumps less than a week ago..its def. not ready to chop but i hear so many people chop too early because they were forced to and they seem to shrug it off so is this ok? Is this all i can/have to do? Also there must have been a defieciency of some kind(didn't look it up b/c LIKE HELL I would be able to fix it with only days to go. so chop, cure and smoke? easy as that? I MUST be ignoring some important process in all this..LAST days of the plant's life..is there NOTHING I can do to "tell" the plant to give all it can give up?
I think i can do something like concentrate the bad/early buds into something rather than keep as plant material right? Do i still cure it all though? Should I just smoke it, trichomey or not? Will it be ok? i think the buds have been very happy except they just kept growing out(when i wanted it to slow to a finish) and are sill very green/chlorophylly/or just not expecting the haxsword so near:wtf:

where should this be posted? I turned off my light. Is this all i do until i cut it from it's roots? a simple yes or no.. would suffice. Thanks!

i found reading the facs page about harvesting and curing very helpful. read that you just cut from the bottom of the plant at the top of the roots and hang upside down for 5-8 days once starting to dry then take off extra leaves and then put in paper bag for x days then in glass jars. this was very very pleasing to my quality and potency of my med.

your plant looks like it has way too much nitrogen and it is also too early to harvest that plant (dont know if you already knew that, just going off the pics).

I also found the FAQ's to be an invaluable source of info.

IMO, that plant looks really sad...why did you take all of the branches off of it? The plant needs those leaves to grow...
