There is actually an outdoor growing forum on this sit but never mind. It sounds like you have the right idea but without knowing what country your in its kind of hard to comment. Im in the UK and i have tried a couple of outdoor crops and it realy all depends on how good the summer is. As it goes i think we are gona have a pretty good one in the UK this year. But good luck any way. As for a strain i grew hindu kush x hash plant and that was fantastic but there so many to choose from these days.. orange buds a nice out door crop..
peace ziggy

I have a outdoor mix of seeds and Manitobia Poison seeds that all do well outdoors. You will want to transplant the seedlings outdoors after the last freez of the year. You can find this info at your local news website or any outdoor garden store. If your interested in the seeds e-mail me at [email protected] Peace

Hey man, first off dont even germ your seeds till June 1rst for an outside grow... After that keep under a Floro till you get the second set of top leaves showing. Then you can move them to sun light a little at a time until they dont wilt in order to "harden" them.
(you can kill them easily at this point so take a look at them every 10 minutes or so)
Once you have them outside (in cups) and they are not wilting you can plant them in the final resting place. You may want to let them grow a bit in the cups but i dont like weak plants so i get them out in the wild straight away.
Use bag seeds for your first try.
Others will tell you this is a bad idea.
But let me tell ya, practice makes perfect and you should atleast give it a go with crappy seeds to start. But then again your bag seeds may be decent.
To me trial and error speaks volums.
Last, use good nutes.. Basically any of the names you see mentioned in these forums is ok to use, but then again maybe not... like i said.. trial and error speaks volums.
