Ok, I have two plants that are yellow to yellowing on the lower nodes with good green on the upper nodes and one has the orignal first fan leaves that have been yellow for a couple of weeks. I just had a chance to visit them after a couple of weeks and I have the land owner taking care of things when I'm unable to get there. I loosened the soil around them today thing it may be a root problem. All my other plants are a lush green. I'm using Foxfarm grow, and they have been getting fed every fifth day per Foxfarms instructions. They both have grown several inches while in this state and both have been topped once. I also have a couple of runts but I dare not yank them since I need this grow to get me through the coming months with meds. Any ideas? :)

BTW, I have the legal number of plants for my state in case LEO is looking!!! :D

The first thing that comes to mind is Nitrogen deficiency, I've heard of but am not familiar with fox farm, what is the N content like? I would get an all-purpose fertilizer with some N. Loosening the soil could be quite stressfull to the plants and I'd avoid it. Many deficiencies have similar symptoms, so use some ferts and if that doesn't work it may be micronutes, but most likely not. Peace.

Fox Farm Grow is 6-4-4. I just loosened the top inch or so around the two plants, nothing to disturb the roots thinking maybe its an oxygen deficiency. The two I'm mentioning also didn't get the perlite and peat base I laid down for the others that we're put in a couple of weeks later. But, they were rooted originally and transplanted in a perlite, potting soil mix as were the others. When I put the last ones in, I just put the soil around them loosely and didn't compact it. Letting the watering settle the soil. ;)

I going to go to Tiger Bloom in a couple of more weeks, but maybe I should get some Fox Farm Bloom and it may help and use it thorough to the end. I have to admit this is my first real outdoor grow, and compared to indoor the
growth difference is noticable but sunlight doesn't run up a utility bill right now. I'm poor side of the economy right now!! :D

And, the Liquid Fence Deer and Rabbit Repellent is keeping the deer and rabbits away. :jointsmile:

you dont need to buy that stuff - your own urine is enough to keep animals away.

$29. plus shipping. Deer Repellent and other Natural Animal Repellents from Liquid Fence Its a gallon and it lasts even after a rain.

A few years back, a friend of mine was growing back east. When ever you went to visit and were drinking beer, everybody pissed in 2 liter bottles so he would use it around his patch. But them modern veriosn works much better, and you don't have to haul piss to the patch!!!!!!!!!!!! :woohoo:
