My outdoor plant is on it's 4th set of 3 finger leaves and the next set that was coming out somehow got clipped off and were it happened there is what looks lo be like a black bruise. Any ideas of what this could be? I dont have any pictures so any advice would be of much help.
most likly a deer or slugs...but dont worry the plant will be fine..
Why do you say it'll fine?
Well if it's still alive it might be ok. If the black is some kind of mould or something it may not be ok. Hard to tell without pic's.
i have this problem also its called cut worm they will eay straight through the stock of your plants, leaves and branches get a sprinkle that goes over and all around the dirt of the plant and mix it up a good 1.5 inches in the soil and repeat every 7 to 10 days and put a good amount on but dont over kill it hope it helps in time
