Cookin' w/Leaf?
Hey there...I'm new to the cookin' game so I'm lookin' for some clarification about using the leaf. I know whatz' up w/ using bud trim and of coarse the bud, but when they say use leaf, are we talkin' the water leaf or shade leaf? And if so, what is the best thing to make w/ the leaf? Thanx':wtf:

Cookin' w/Leaf?
I'm no botanist, but a pretty darn good cook. I consider anything that is not bud as leaf. The closer it comes from the bud the gooder, the farther away the worster.
Dry it out bone dry. Mix it up so the gooder and worster blend. Smoke a bit to give you some idea of potencey to start with.
I make butter or oil with it and use those infusions as the base for other edibles. Oil is more versatile in some ways. There is less THC laden oil trapped in the vegetable than butter, but butter so far seems easier to prepare and titrate portions with in baking. If you find that your oil doesn't have the potency you are looking for oil can be re-done with more pot easier than butter.
Anything else? I'll try to help.

hey herbal. i'm fairly new to this game too but i've just made up sum butter by slow boiling around 40g of fairly dry (due to timing) bud trim, no fan leaves, very well ground, with 500g of butter and about 1.5 litres of water for 3.5hours. it's just in the fridge settin now so i'll sample some for breakfast in the mornin.
yummy yummy yummy, i'll let you know:D
