Do some of you make thousands of dollars on this stuff?

If you have at all a decent sized to large setup, 10-20 plants, If each plant yields you 1.5 oz every 4 months (conservatively) and you sell for $300/oz you could take in up to $27,000 a year from this stuff. And that is just a medium discrete basement space.

I'm growing one plant just for personal use but it boggles the mind just how much these plants are worth thanks to the money spent on prosecuting it by the US government. They're the ones essentially responsible for the ridiculous profit margins taken in by some growers because if it weren't for them creating the great risk of doing this through tough punishments, it wouldn't be this lucrative of an operation.

But I guess that is the real incriminating side of all of this which is why we don't talk about it here too much. Still, it really interests me.

And if you grow a couple outdoor the potential is 2 lbs or so per plant. $4800 per pound so about $10,000 per plant.

Well yeah I've always thought about the wide profit margin from the grower all the way to the street level. An ounce of High grade cannabis sells for probably just as much as any other product in the world. In some places an ounce can go for like 500+.. I think gold is around like 800. Gold isnt renewable every few months like cannabis is though so I'd have to say its def. one of the most profitable substances in the world.
