Hey, does anyone know if joey weeds AK x bberry responds well to topping? Or if letting it form on its own is better off? It is listed as early flowering but the the parents lean heavily towards the sativa side and it's known to have a pretty long flowering period. I have them spaced about 2 ft. from eachother, but I want them all to form into a nice tight hedge. Basically which do you think will yield better?(If anyone has exp. with this strain)

i've always topped usually 2-3 times during veg. 0 times in the flowering stage.
usually my first top is cut around the 5th to 7th node, so the main stem wont be so tall and can support a heavy bushy plant better.
no experience with indicas, just sativas.

but having them 2ft apart maybe an issue if ur gonna top, becuz they spread so far out like a bush, and may resrtict ur sunlight to the flowers later on.
Thanks, good points. 2 plants which are further apart have had the tops eaten off, so I guess I'll have 2 of them nturally topped, lol. The 8 that I was speaking of I'm thinking may be to tall to top at this point as they lean towards more towards the sativa side. They are finally starting to branch and grow asw we're getting more sun around here. As for my leafhopper problem of late I used Garden Safe 3 in 1 which is essentially just neem oil. I don't know how well it will work on the bugs, but it always did a great job on this purple fungus problem I used to have at my old spot. Colorful littles bugs, might actually think they were kindof cute the way they bounce and hide from you, if it weren't for the fact that they're eating my chillins', lol.
