I'd say they're just about maxed out if the nutrients are your only variable and everything else in that room is good. Trying going with pure water for a while and see if the leaves smooth out.
id say nitrogen overdose
thanks for the input guys. everything else seems perfect. 35-50% humidity, about 75-80 degrees f. no bugs, nothing nut a new nute solution. growth began to slow so i switched my solution and it seems really dark. i ue organics and it leaves a brown residue on the pump and tubing. now that the roots are fully suspended in water the roots have gained the same brown residue. i use an aquarium pump with an airstone to keep the water oxygenated. im just wondering if maybe i am getting root rot. some of the leaves have started to show yellowing or even tiny orange sections. please help. i hope theyll be ok:rastasmoke:
first, you need to clear up those roots ... a good flushing with hydrogen peroxide added, usually does the trick, quickly ... I have never seen a recommended dosage, but my usual '2 ounces per gallon' has worked well for me, in the past ... it will also kill beneficial bacteria, which will need to be replaced (Fox Farm Big Bloom, etc) ... I think my deep green/leathery leaves are due to excess humidity, but I'm not positive of that ... over-nitrogen will burn the tips of the leaves first, I don't think that's your situation ... :smokin:
well when i had nitrogen overdose my plants were smelling really amonia like almost like cat pee if your plants smell like this chances are its N overdose if not than im not sure.
