FakeBoobsRule: Drug test week of Jul 20. Help!

FakeBoobsRule, after reading around the forums, it seems like you are especially knowledgeable in this field and I would really appreciate your opinion on this. And of course, anyone else is welcome to respond.

I am on drug-offender probation and get a UA every few weeks. This time, the gap was an extra week more than I usually get between screenings. So I made the decision to smoke yesterday for the holiday. A few months ago in a similar situation, I had smoked 16 days before my test and failed an at-home drug test (second line was barely there) before I went in, so I faked the test with clean urine. This time, I have smoked more heavily than last time and again have a 16 to 20 day window before my next test. I would really prefer to not have to fake it this time (I will if I have to, but it's risky)--what all can I do to increase my chances of coming up clean?

I don't trust nor do I have the money for "detox" systems from head shops or GNC, etc.. I am not sure whether diluting will invalidate my UA or not, so I'd prefer not to try it.

I already work out 3 times a week for powerlifting. Should I add steady-state cardio on my off days? I take creatine as a workout supplement, will this effect the outcome in any way? Changing my diet frequently is already part of my life, so what changes could I make to increase my rate of metabolization (high fat/high protein, high carb/high protein, etc.)? Should I up my intake of flax for added fiber? Drink extra water, cranberry juice? Also, I read on one of the posts that I should not be working out the week of my drug test to prevent the THC-bound fat molecules from exiting--any validity to this? Anything else that might help me out, I'm open to it.

I would say you are on the right track. Ultimately time and exercise are what will help to rid your body of THC metabolites. In order to pass a drug screen for my job I increased my cardio workouts, running every day, went on a high fiber diet with lots of veggies, learned to love salads, and took metamucil capsules. I did not overdo liquids but stayed hydrated. I kept this up for 21 days before consistently passing at home tests. I was a daily smoker. On day 25 I took and passed my drug screen. I think from what I have read that you can exercise up to 3 days before your test then go into veg mode and eat plenty of fatty foods. Creatine will not hurt and will help if you decide to dillute.

I highly recommend getting some at home tests for thc. You can get them pretty cheap on line. That way you can test yourself and feel pretty confident of where you are at. If you are not passing 2 days before your scheduled UA, then consider dilluting. You can practice, follow the sticky and test yourself to see how you do. If you dillute, keep up your creatine intake and sub gatorade for water the day of the UA.

Yeah I agree, you seem like your doing the right things. I know you are against it like you said but I swear to god I smoked three days before my pre--employment urine test and passed easily with a drink called Absolute Detox. The good thing about it is you can get it online like anywhere for only like $15 and you really don't have to bug out as much the day of (I still was a little nervous lol). I have used it twice now and it worked both times. I had the red one which i think is cherry. I was skeptical of these drinks at first too and read a lot about them online getting very mixed results but it came through for me in the end (and was especially nice because my friend gave me the first one for free). Well that's just my two cents, good luck with everything!

I made the switch today to the anabolic diet--40% protein and 60% fat w/lots of veggies & carb-loading on the weekends--the whole idea behind it is to make your body burn fat for energy rather than carbs, muscle, etc., so I figure what better time to switch to it than now? I am going to wait until the weekend before my test to carb load (12 days with no carbs) to give myself some extra time to burn off body fat. With my limited knowledge of the inner workings of the body, I can't be sure if that will make a difference on drug tests, but I'm hoping so! THC is stored in fat, so if I get rid of the fat, I should also lower the THC stored in my body, right? I think I may make another trip to the grocery store today to get some metamucil to use on top of my extra flax intake.

After reading the sticky topic on diluting, I'm thinking I may give that a shot to increase my chances of showing up clean. Little did I know that my creatine supplement will make it so easy. :P I typically take a few grams post-workout, would you recommend that I start using it every day or just make sure to use some the day of my UA?

I appreciate the input on Absolute Detox, but I've heard so many mixed reviews of (and seen too many friends locked up after using) so many of those type of products that I can't put my freedom on the line with a product I'm not 100% sure will work for me. If I fail, I don't just not get a job--I get locked up til around this time next year. Not something I'm going to chance! Again, thank you though.

It will take time for your body to process it into creatinine which is what may be measured to check against dillution. Also why you would want to use gatorade instead of water the day of your UA. If you are using creatine now as part of your workouts, you should be in good shape. Lets us know how things workout.

lol wow, in every post I have seen from you you say "You want to make sure you take your creatine starting 3 days before to your UA daily. Even if it is completely irrelevant to what they are asking....someone trying to just get post counts up? Kinda makes me mad that I have stated in my posts I already know that, and sure enough you reply and tell me again =)
