Clone w/o heat mat?
Hey guy quick question. Anyone clone without a heat pad? My veg room is around 73-79 degrees and curious what's the sucess rate is without the mat. I have an easy cloner but want to budget my power as much as I can. Plus it's a pain setting upthe ezcloner.

Can't speak for your strain in particular, but i have had success using a small 10 site cloner with no heat mat. Usually 100% will root, occasionally I will lose 1 but not too often. My temps are about the same as yours too.

Clone w/o heat mat?
I just took some blueberry clones and didn't use a heat mat. It just took a little while longer than expected to root. Maybe if you can get some superthrive you can add a drop or two to your water and add that...It should help a bit with root growth. Just a thought though!

i ment im a cloning with rr cubes and will they have a good sucess rate without the heat mat? i want to put the ezclone in the closet this summer and want to try cloning with old school rr but dont want to invest in the whole propagation set(heat pad+temp controller).

you shouldn't have any problems.
i just took some clones from a plant that was 3+ weeks into flower. all i did was cut them off the mom using an angle, for more surface area and then used my little scissors to scrape about 1" up the base of the cutting all the way around, dipped into some superthrive and stuck it into potting soil. no humidity dome, no cloning gel, no nothing. never sprayed them or anything. 100% success rate! this was done under a few CFLs with a temp between 76-83F.
i think you'll be fine.
