CFL light setup ...... whats best to buy

Hi , im setting trying to set a grow room up but its quite a small space . im using this wilma 8 pot system

hydroponics 8 POT WILMA SYSTEM SELF WATERING GROW KIT on eBay (end time 16-Jul-09 14:14:14 BST).

but what lights are best ... im going to use cfl`s to keep the heat low + it will be fixed low down not high up(i dont want a fire) im looking at either 250w Blue 6400K CFL Grow Light & Reflector Kit for Veg on eBay (end time 03-Jul-09 19:24:20 BST)
or ENVIROLITE 4 Grow Lamp / Light REFLECTOR CFL / HPS on eBay (end time 28-Jun-09 17:35:42 BST)

or should i use something else ???

how big of plants are you trying to grow?

well the pots stand 50cm off the ground and the space is only about 2m high ... that leaves 1.5m for the plants and the light to share , i will only let them grow as big as a normal veg cycle will allow . i dont mind investing in the right lighting to make it a quick suckses.

you can veg a cannabis plant indefinitely. there are people that have the same moms from 20+ years ago.

i'd let them get good roots (time varies depending on starting from seeds or clones). once they have good roots i'd flip them to 12/12. keep in mind that depending on your strain (and a few other factors) your ladies will double or triple in size during the "stretch".

you can use some training methods to keep them shorter and bushier. look into topping and LST.

i'd say get at least a 400W HPS, or better yet get a 600W. you can find a digital one for ~$200.
