Living on a co-op?

I am trying to find a way to move to California and live on a growers co-op.

It seems that California is the only place that would allow me to relieve myself from ptsd, insomnia, depression and anxiety in a legal way. I want to know if there is a way to live on a growers co-op if there even is such a thing and how much it would cost me to live there. I am looking for this kind of arrangement because I need a way to establish myself in the state and I don't have the money to just move out there on my own, I live in Virginia. I am not looking for profit, I am looking for relief.

Please if anyone has any information on this that could help me I would greatly appreciate it.
