How to dry/cure plants in a moving truck? Feedback Needed!

Hey guys, if you've seen my other post you know I am having a big dilemma.

My plants aren't ready but I need to move across the country (literally four days of driving) five days from now. Meaning my plants have at max five days left to get prepared for the drive.

I have been thinking of ways to let them dry while on the drive.

I have a wooden chest of drawers which I was thinking about putting the freshly clipped buds in (on top of brown paper bags.) I would keep these closed during the day (driving time) and then open them up to air out during the night (~14 hours a day)

However I see everyone talking about hang drying and it seems like that may be the way to go. Obviously I can't string a big clothesline of buds across the back of my moving truck so I was thinking about doing it in a box. I wouldn't clip the plants and let the entire plant hang in the box. I have made a picture diagram below.

ANY advice you can give me would be so much appreciated. I'm new to this and a bit scared. I know I did not choose the "best path" to growing great bud but please help me choose the "best path available" in these five days I have to prepare for the drive.

I think cutting them up is the way to go. Easier to hide. More surface area means it'll dry a bit faster so less risk of mold during the driving time.

Personally I'd be scared to transport just-cut stanky pot plants unless they were sealed up in air-tight containers at the least. But then you risk mold.

I was worried about the smell too but they're not very big plants (I don't expect more than two ounces.) Any tips you guys could think of to limit the smell? Possibly trimming the leaves to cut down on bio-mass?

So you think cutting them up is the best route? Is that ONLY if they're hanging? I'm not sure but I might be able to hang a string thru the box I was planning on hanging the full plants from. This way I could squeeze in some clothespins, do you guys think this will hold in ~2,500 miles of driving?

If I couldn't suspend them individually would cutting the branches individually and then laying them flat on newspaper inside the drawers be better than hanging the entire plant?

....He dries his out in a box, that will give you some ideas at least.....I would definitely cut off whatever leaves you dont need just leave all the buds on for hang drying...you dont wanna develop any mold

You could build a cedar drying box.
