Grow box setup

Hello, I designed this grow box and as a Carpenter I built the box here are the dimensions and such of how I designed it. I'm running into the small problem of my light being a 400watt Mh bulb with no reflector so it's really heating up the surrounding walls. I'm thinking of going and getting flat white paint tomorrow would this be a good idea would it stop the surrounding walls from burning because I'm afraid to leave it on over night.

Well, you need a reflector and some cooling system. You need a fan to pull the hot air away from the bulb and out of the cabinet. And yes, flat white walls will reflect most of the light off of the walls and keep them cooler. :) Good luck!

Yeah im not 100% sure on what to do up there yet, but I do have 2x120mm fans that go pretty good so it keeps it nice and cool for the plant but it's hot as hell at the top of the box im thinking of cutting 4x40mm holes in each corner and putting 40mm fans in just to vent the hot air out.
