OK got the wheels turning
Hey guys,
So I posted my first post a few days back. I have been reading and reading and researching and researching for about a week now. Let me lay it out for ya:
My plan, I want to grow one plant maybe two tops of something like NYCD or something along those lines. I want to do it in pots with soil and just control height threw length of Veg cycle. I'm going to build a box out of ply wood and 2x4's and keep it in my closet. I will only be using CFL's probably between 8 and 15 of them in the box so I can get my lumens up. The dimensions of the box are about 31" across front 23" deep and about 5' tall give or take. I plan to have one exhaust fan using carbon filters for smell and probably two air intakes on the bottom of the box with exhaust fan being attached to the light box which will be capable of being raised and lowerd. I will also keep a fan in the box to move air. I will be final planting in 4 gal buckets. So what do we think about the idea so far is it possible? Any tweaks? or comment? or additions please let me know. Love the forum and looking forward to tons of input thanks everyone. Happy blazin'

sounds good man. I believe you've done some reading. have you thought about what kind of grow medium and nutes yet?

No honestly haven't thought about any kind of grow medium or nutes to use yet. I was just gonna go to lowes or homedepot get a good potting soil for a sprotting plant and then from my understanding the plant is good in that for 2 weeks after that from what I've read/heard during the Veg. stage stick with something with more Nitrogen in it and during Flowering stick with something with more Phospherus in it. That's about where I'm at in this work of things so far. Input please keep it coming fellas.
