5 LR x AK47 seeds, got some questions!

Hi!
I recently bought 5 strains, Easy Ryder (Joint Doctor) feminized Which is an f1 cross between a Lowryder #2 and an automatic AK47.

Aand I got some questions for my first grow.

1. How much soil should I use, and should I mix it with something?

2. Is fertilizers important?

3. How much should I water the plants?

4. How deep should the hole be?

5. Should I use pots, or just put them in the soil/soilmix?

6. Haha last ... How about lecca"balls"? Should I use them on top? ...


Hmm thats all I could come up with so far . Hope you can help me!

1. if you have a secure enough spot, put them in the ground, buy a bag of perlite and topsoil from any gardening store and mix them in with the soil, tilling up the ground a bit. If you can't get the topsoil out there safely, bring just the perlite, it's smaller and easier to conceal, or just sneak out there at night using a small dim light. Thesoil doesn't have to be perfect, just decent and not clayish.
2. Ferts are important, but on your first time it's best to avoid too much science. The most likely deficiency you'll encounter is nitrogen which expresses itself with a yellowing of the leaves from the bottom up, solve that problem with an allpurpose fertilizer like miraclegro and follow the instructions. Or "dynamite" fertilizer which is really good stuff with micronutrients unlike miraclegro.
3. watering too much can cause a fungal attack known as root rot, so instead water the plant when the soil appears dry, not bone dry, but use common sense don't water when the soil is still pretty moist. you'll get the hang of it pretty quickly, just always keep in mind not to overwater.
4. seeds should be placed a 1/4 in deep and kept fairly moist to sprout.
5. pots are okay but the ground gives the roots a chance to spread out and enjoy. the healthier the roots, the happier the plant.
6. You don't have to be a wiz to grow some really good stuff, some ppl want to be pot scientists and that's good and I always thirst for knowledge, but simplicity can many times work just as well if not better. I've read 8 books on the subject . It's called weed for a reason, man, it grows like one. by the way, good choice on the genetics. My fav is bueberryxak-47 by joey weed. anythin with ak is a sure winner. good luck and anyquestions just ask.
