I need some help cleaning
Hello everyone, soon enough I am moving to Kentucky and I have two pipes..a metal one and a glass one.
I need to know what is the best way to get them completely clean as if it looks like I just bought them. I have heard about the cleaners you can buy from smoke shops but I've seen bad reviews on them and that you can use household items that do just the same cleaning or even better!
If anyone can give me some advice on how to clean them that'd be great..I'm in no hurry though. I just need to make sure I can get these two pipes safely through the airport haha

Once it's used, there no safe way to get it through airport security. You can clean them well but to clean them 100% is near impossible. Terrible idea dude.
Glass cleans well with just boiling water.
Don't do it. TSA can and probably will turn you over to the cops.
Are you not moving in a rental truck or moving company or using one of these two to transport furniture or other items?

You know you just reminded me..I'm not taking the airport period haha I'm take a U-Haul and the car..So yes I will be packing my goodies away in a box somewhere in the U-Haul, so I think I'll be good.
So there is no way to clean a metal pipe huh? Hmm well thanks for the advice on the glass cleaning..is there any substances I should put in the boiling water to help clean it better?

91% Alcohol is very high, so would I have to get that at any place in particular or just at a local grocery store? Also with what you just told me to do is that method available to work on my metal pipe too?
Thanks for the feedback I didn't think I'd get anything from anyone haha

A method I would suggest that i have used many times is to just fill a small container with rubbing alcohol (from any grocery store), drop the pipe inside, and leave it for a day or two.
When you come back to it, most of the resin will be dissolved, and any that isn't will be easy as butter to scrape out :)
Of course, if it still isnt clean enough for ya, rinse and repeat :thumbsup:
