going to hardware store later

hey as the title says im going to the hardware store later to find pecies to make a pipe. what kind of material should i look for and use.
if have made one by doing the fulling please tell me what all u did use and what the pecies are called

there are many thing si love aobut smoking weed, including the joys of just breaking it up with your fingers. i love making bongs as well, so dont listen ot the people saying just get a glass one. making em is alot of fun. brass seems to work well. i bought a little pipe a few weeks ago(RIP, broke it), and the dude gave me brass screens, so im trying to use those.

anybody here know what makes a good bowl? i dont have any good size wrench sockets left.
