put your finger in the soil and if you hair stands on end then it's time to water! Come on seriously, just water like you would in the veg cycle buddy.
What I've heard the only time water cycling may change is the last week or two when they will hold off on giving it any as to "pre-dry" the bud before harvest to speed up the process.
Don't mean to sound like a POS but that question was a bit remedial.(sorry i'm a bit edgy today):wtf:

I water when my moisture meter says the soil is dry at the bottom of the pot....when the lights come on...

I don't have a pic of a moisture meter, handy...but, they are sold at Lowe's, Home Depot and any good home & garden center. About $3-$6.
They have a 8 inch metal probe that you stick into the soil pot. By going much deeper than your finger can...it's reads: WET-MOIST-DRY.
Some of the newer models even have a light meter setting and a PH setting!...how acturate?..I don't know...but it's better than nothing....I suppose. The moisture setting is very, very accurate.

I purchased one of those moisture/ph/luman readers from a garden center and they are ok but not the greatest. I spent about 30 bucks and it gives general ave accuracy I suppose but thats I am looking for..

Dont make the mistake above. I also got one that measures luminosity, moisture, and ph. In my opinion only the moisture is accurate enough to be any help. These moisture meters are less than five bucks and are all you need to measure moisture at the bottom of your pots. The things are great to have because you dont want to over water and get root rot. Its hard for me to imagine how they work, but put it under water and you'll see it tell you its wet. Accurate enough
