Soil Mix

I have had a VERY bad time lately. All my babies are dying and nobody knows how to help me.... Check this link for more info on this case:

After all ive tried i can only believe my problem is that my soil is tooo heavy and that the roots are having a hard time living there.
So this is it...whats a good soil mix? Dont give me brands because i dont live in the US :P
Im trying to get perlite or vermiculite, but it looks like no-one knows WTF that is...(which is retarded...)Il keep on looking tho.
So starting from the beggining. Whats a balanced soil mix?

Get yourself some perlite, peat moss, mix about 60/40. Here's a link that explains it better also some organic additives.

Took me about 2 minutes to find it using google......very handy sometimes.
