I was going to post it in my global warming thread but decided their was no point since I have yet to have anyone post counter-evidence. i used to live with a girl who was a geologist. she and her father used to work on them superfund sites to make sure that everything was cleaned up properly. they were an independent company that was hired by the owners of the property or those doing the clean up. they were continualy fighting with the EPA to keep the clean up going because the sites were still highly toxic, exposed numerus deletions of information as well as down right lies in the information. my point is is the EPA is bull shit they dont give a flying fuck about our enviroment.
it's always scary when any gov agency has to much power! (it almost always means more power has been took from the people) in theory the EPA seems like a good idea, but ultimately just another way for big business to guilt us into paying more for "green" products. global warming is complete bullshit! anyone who's done the research knows our beautiful life-giving sun goes through cosmic cycles. we are currently going into solar max, the strongest in recorded history, which seems to be part of a much larger/longer cycle. in thousands of years, when the next ice age comes, I'm sure people will be freaking out then too. man needs to learn to embrace the rythems of nature instead of fighting them.
