Quick Fix Validity testing?

I'm really worried. My 15 year old daughter got caught in school trying to buy a pill from another student because her "friend" told her to. I was glad she got caught before she took the pill and I explained to her how taking something like that can even kill. Now we could be in a world of trouble because when her school counselor ask her if her parents use drugs, she freaking told them that we smoke weed. A few years ago I explained to her, knowing she was old enough to know what that smell that some times comes from our bedroom is, I told her how because it's illegal, we shouldn't do it. But it is a plant, can't kill anybody and is safer then alcohol.

Of course the school called CPS on us. I have 3 kids ages 12, 15 and 17 and have NEVER dealt with CPS. They made us take a drug test, my husband is safe cause he used a clean friends piss, but I only have 2 girlfriends I'd trust to ask and one smokes too, the other is on pain meds. So I used the newest quick fix 5.7.

I'm soooo worried because the receipt they gave me says that it is to be tested for Non-regulated Validity.

When searching online, I found a website that sales Validity (Adulteration)Test strips and it says this less then $2 strip can detect Pyridinium chlorochromate used in synthetic urine.

it reads... Pyridinium chlorochromate (sold under the brand name "UrineLuck") is a commonly used adulterant. Normal human urine should not contain oxidants or PCC.


So I am sooo worried they will know and I will fail. Does anyone have any advice or knowledge of this? Anyone recently used Quick fix 5.7

Any help would be so appreciated.

Btw, it's been 2 days since my husband and I took the test and I'm on pins and needles, he of course has no worries cause he used his friends clean urine. I can't sleep, can't eat. I have 3 girls who are my world and there is NO abuse or neglect of any kind. I find it ridiculous that cps could put us thru this just because we occasionally smoke a joint.

You got things all mixed up there.

UrineLuck is a brand name for a drop-in additive used to spike a urine sample. Quick Fix is the synthetic urine. Both products are made by Spectrum Labs.

Also, additives are classified as adulterants. Synthetic urines are classified as Urine substitutes.

Thanks again, I've read many of your post and value your opinion, so thanks for the bit of reassurance! My stomach is in knots and could sure use a toke right now. But to be safe, I have quit for the past 2 weeks and won't smoke again til I know they are off my case.

I'm sure this was a good lesson on life too for your daughter. Don'y blindly trust anyone, and never tell anybody anything that you don't want the cops to know. And never talk to cops.

Believe me, I had to reassure her that I wasn't mad at her and it wasn't easy trying to explain to her how because it is illegal, I would never want them to smoke weed, however, it is just a freaking plant. No one makes it in their basement with poison's. I am very anti drug, but can not call a plant a drug. A plant that is waaay safer then even alcohol which kills every day. You could smoke joint after joint and never OD. You can't say that about any other substance including alcohol, which is legal?? People get drunk and get angry. I've never seen or heard of anyone getting mean and angry on pot. It's just stupid. She is a very smart girl and she understands. I have 3 great children and no problems in our house hold, and so it is insane that we are being investigated by CPS because every once in a while we relax with a little smoke. This lovely free country of ours.....

thank you jeffman, i will let you guys know. I'm just so unbelievably worried. And afraid I made the wrong decision. Before I took the UA, I hadn't smoked in a week and I'd been taking Niacin, green tea pills, cranberry pills and drinking lots of vitamin water. I took 4 home test the day before the test and 1 came out positive but the other 3 had that faint negative line. The day of the test I took 4 more home test and all of them passed but the line was so light that I was too afraid to risk it. I sat there looking at those test and looking at my box of quick fix, wondering which way should I go. I went with the quick fix and now all I can think is what if I made the wrong choice.

The only plan I have now is, if they say it failed because it wasn't human urine, I'm going to dispute it and say I want to take it again and someone can even watch, because I know for sure I can pass it by then.
