When is a good time to cut those annoying fan leaves?
Sorry team my question is simple but the answer seems to be difficult to find. I can't find any information on whether or not it's safe to completely cut off fan leaves from my plants. I have a crowded space and feel that some fan leaves are hogging precious light from reaching bud sites. Here are my questions, much obliged for any advice...
1) Is it okay to cut fan leaves during flowering?
2) If it is okay, how many roughly can I cut before it becomes harmful to overall yield?

Are the food factories of your plant!
I remove fan leaves when they are yellow. I also harvest in "two goes". Getting the big buds (and their annoying fan leaves) harvested and out of the way, so the smaller shaded ones can get an extra week's growth. Works for me. :)
