In 2006 Ronnie Naulls founded Healing Nations Collective, a storefront facility with the purpose of facilitating the safe access of medical marijuana for California residents who have been recommended the use of marijuana for medical purposes. Healing Nations Collective was organized under California law as a Non-profit organization, founded with the counsel of Attorney Robert Raich (Gonzalez v. Raich, 545 U.S. 1 (2005) and approved and incorporated by the California Secretary of State. The Collective maintained a valid Sellerâ??s Permit from the State Board of Equalization and contributed $123,070.00 in tax revenue to the State of California. Healing Nations was a prominent contributor to the community supporting a number of local charities and organizations. In addition, the Collective was a recognized member of the Corona Chamber of Commerce.



On July 17th, 2007 Healing Nations Collective, Naulls' home and all unconnected organizations were raided by the Drug Enforcement Administration. During the raid they confiscated family vehicles, savings and checking accounts and all related and unrelated business accounts. Ronnie's three daughters were ripped from their motherâ??s arms and placed in the custody of Riverside County Child Protective Services. Ronnie was indicted by a Federal Grand Jury, arrested, and thrown in Federal prison. His parentâ??s put their home up for the bond for his release and he has spent the past 18 months on house arrest trying to put his life back together.



Come hear the story of Healing Nations Collective and learn of the twist Ronnie's life has taken since he took it upon himself to try and provide the seriously ill with access to their medicine. Ronnie will be in court in the coming days and it would be a great effort for the patient community to rally behind Ronnie and remind him and authorities that we support our right to safe access and we won't be driven underground with fearful tactics - even when they resort to stealing our children.
