If this were a rainfall map of your island where would you plant?

So say it were legal to plant plants anywhere on this great island.. What would you look for. Where do you vets think would be the optimal rainfall location? The sun i can figure out. I just dont want too much rain and I dont want to be carrying jugs of water on long ass hikes with me. I kinda wanna just plant them carefully and check on em once in a while..Im no expert on the local weather. I know april-december is the dryer season. But I dont know how dry yet..
