OUTDOOR PLANTING TIMES UK. PLEASE HELP

Hi can anyone give me some info- im in the uk in the south and want to know the best month to plant my young plants. Is end of aprill a good time and also when will they start to show there sex and be ready for harvest approx. I know it varys but just want a basic idear as cant find much info. If anybody has a good knoledge of this could they give me the average hours of daylight per month- i.e may-15 hours of daylight. Hope to hear from you soon:rastasmoke:
