what is the max area 3X 1000watt HID HPS will cover with optimal results? Is it better to do 2hps & 1 Metal halide or 3 hps for flower?

hid adds more blue spectrum. helps with growth. 3X 1000w will cover about a 150 sq.ft. area unless you use a motor and then you can double the area.Quote:

If I had three 1k bulbs, I would go (hps, mh, hps) in series, over a three 4x4 tables
I would use HPS (high-pressure sodiums) in all three fixtures ... you can veg just fine with the HPS
I start clones under a flourecent fixture and take them to 12'' then they go to hps for 18-6 for 2 weeks then 12-12 approx to flower. It looks like I end up at 4-5 ft when complete so In my case hps works fine. Peace
I would go with 2 HPs on sides and then get a 1000watt dual spectrum for the middle. Dual spectrum{2 bulbs in 1 hood/reflector.] Just what i would do.
I use 3 -1000 watters in a 18 ft long x 7 ft wide area....I used to be 50-50 in flower now I just use the mhs for the entire grow
24 watts per square foot in that large room???
How is that working out?
Ive read over and over that u want to shoot for 50wsf, but it always looked like it was too much light in my oppinion
